Emplan Limited is a Nairobi-based international engineering consultancy delivering MEP, building-services, sustainability, infrastructure and project-delivery expertise worldwide. Our deepest market knowledge is in Kenya and East Africa, without limiting where we can work or collaborate.
Our practice
Established in Nairobi, Emplan supports developers, architects, project managers, contractors and institutional clients from early strategy through construction and handover. Our role is to make technically sound decisions clear, coordinated and buildable.
We combine internationally recognised engineering principles with a detailed understanding of East African construction, procurement, climate and operations. Years of working through complex projects have also developed strong project judgement: we anticipate constraints, respond proactively when circumstances change, distinguish workable solutions from unsuitable ones and help the wider team shape a project that can succeed in practice.

Since 2015, Emplan has provided engineering services on developments connected with the organisations, operators and programmes below. For franchise hotel developments, Emplan was appointed by the developer, while the relevant hotel brand reviewed and approved the MEP designs against its requirements and standards.
